Course 120 - Elder Care Mediation

  • Examine the characteristics of Elder Care mediation.
  • Learn the biological, psychological, sociological, spiritual aspects of aging.
  • Learn the common needs, interests, and issues of the aging and their families.
  • Identify stereotypes associated with aging.
  • Learn legal rights, statutes, and terminology relevant to the aging population.
  • Learn to manage ethical dilemmas when mediating Elder Care issues.
  • Identify community resources for the aging.
  • Participate in interactive role plays and scenarios relevant to elder care situations.
